Prowl® H2O herbicide will control annual grasses and certain broadleaf weeds in and around field, liner and container outdoor ornamentals and conifers for field production, including Christmas trees.
A Better Formula For Pre-emergent Success
Prowl H2O herbicide encapsulates a water-based formulation of the industry’s leading pre-emergent active ingredient – BASF pendimethalin – in an ultra-thin capsule. This BASF patented technology allows Prowl H2O to deliver:
- A highly effective and economical preemergent weed control option in and around field, liner and container outdoor ornamentals and conifers for field production, including Chrismas trees.
- Effective control for a wide range of weed species – more than 40 grassy and broadleaf weeds.

Keys To Success
Uniform application of Prowl H2O over the treated area is essential for effective control. The herbicide must be applied prior to weed germination. Efficacy will be improved if application is followed by one-half inch of rainfall or its equivalent in sprinkler irrigation.
